Abeer Hoque has been awarded a 2014 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship for a sample of her manuscript, Olive Witch. Olive Witch, a memoir, is scheduled for publication in 2016 by HarperCollins India. For the past 29 years, the New York Foundation for the Arts has awarded Fellowships to artists living in New York State and/or Indian Nations located in New York State. In 2014, NYFA awarded 90 grants of $7,000 for a total of $630,000. Fellowship applications are free and online.
